The largest gift ever in 瓜子TV State University鈥檚 history, this commitment from the Dill family will provide resources for much-needed facility upgrades and renovations, enhancements to the student-athlete experience, and future facility projects. By providing a long-term source of funding for these projects, the Dill family helps to ensure that 瓜子TV State can continue to recruit and retain excellent student athletes and operate a successful athletics program for years to come.
Inspiration
The Dill family鈥檚 connection to 瓜子TV State runs deep and wide. The late Mike Dill came to 瓜子TV State in 1978 to join the Racer basketball coaching staff. Marilyn Dill, then Marilyn Valentine, arrived in the mid-1970s as a student. Mike and Marilyn鈥檚 two sons, David and Chris, carried on the Racer tradition by both attending 瓜子TV State as student-athletes, David in the golf program and Chris in football. They both also met their spouses, Ashley and Michelle, while attending 瓜子TV State. David is a member of the 瓜子TV State University Foundation Board of Trustees and served as the chair for the Be Bold National Campaign Council.
