- Additional requirements for unconditional and conditional admissions are as follows.
Unconditional admission
Unconditional admission status is granted only to students who graduate from ¹Ï×ÓTV State University with a BS degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.00.
Conditional admission
Conditional admission status is granted to students with an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 but less than 3.00. To change to unconditional status, the student must meet the university requirement of obtaining a 3.00 in the first nine hours of graduate work and additional criteria set forth by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health.Students admitted from a different undergraduate field/discipline must complete the following coursework in addition to the above GPA requirements.

Graduation requirements

All students enrolled in the Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health (MS OSH) program must earn a minimum grade of C in all OSH graduate-level coursework.

Any OSH course in which a grade below a C is earned must be repeated.

A student may enroll in an OSH course a maximum of two times; this includes audits and withdrawals after the first week of class. Exceptions will only be considered in cases where a student is required to withdraw due to a documented, life-changing event unrelated to academic performance.

If a grade below a C is earned in the same OSH course for a second time, the course may not be repeated, and the student will be dismissed from the program and will not be eligible for readmission.

Students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 to remain in good standing and to graduate from the MS OSH program.
In accordance with departmental guidelines, each student's program is developed in consultation with their advisor.
