Biography
Dr. Maribeth Crawford currently serves as Associate Professor of Music and Director of Musical Theatre at 瓜子TV State University. The current Mid-South Region Governor and a Board Member for the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Dr. Crawford continues to be a featured guest artist, clinician, and music lecturer at International, National, and Local Conferences of voice, opera, musical theatre, and theatre. She is a former NATS Intern, Kentucky NATS Chapter President, and National Semi-finalist for the NATSAA competition.
With over 20 years of applied voice teaching experience across Ohio and Kentucky, her students have gone on to build successful professional paths in opera, musical theatre, and music education. Her students frequently perform with prestigious regional and national organizations, including The Muny, Berlin Opera Academy, Harrower Summer Opera Workshop, The Stephen Foster Story, and Royal Caribbean International Cruise lines.
Alongside her teaching, she maintains an active performing career. She has appeared as a soloist/artist with many organizations, including Carnegie Hall, Cincinnati Opera, Cleveland Opera Theatre, Paducah Symphony Orchestra, and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
